Young Children's Creative Thinking
Day Conference at University of Roehampton, Saturday 16 June 2012 This
day conference marks the publication of Young Children's Creative
Thinking, by Sage in April 2012.
The conference will feature keynote addresses by Professor Anna Craft
(Exeter University), and Professor Trisha Maynard (Canterbury Christ
Church University), as well as talks by the four current members of the
Froebel Research Fellowship team, all of whom are at University of
Roehampton: Hiroko Fumoto, Honorary Research Fellow, Sue Robson,
Principal Lecturer, Sue Greenfield, Senior Lecturer, and David
Hargreaves, Froebel Research Fellow and Professor. The day will also
include workshop sessions on different aspects of young children's
creative thinking.
Professor Tina Bruce, CBE, Visiting Professor in the Early Childhood
Research Centre (ECRC) at Roehampton, will chair the conference
programme, and Professor Kevin Brehony, Director of ECRC, will act as
discussant for the closing plenary discussion session.

MeCCSA is the subject association for the field of media, communication and cultural studies in UK Higher Education. Membership is open to all who teach and research these subjects in HE institutions, via either institutional or individual membership.
