Dear colleagues
At the Social Care Institute for Excellence we are reviewing our database subscriptions. We often search a wide range of databases when doing in depth searching on social welfare related topics for researchers, including educational ones.
ERIC, the world’s largest education database, is funded by the US, Department of Education. It claims to have an international focus. But does it? How good is ERIC's coverage of UK material? Do we need the British Educational Index, a UK focused database, as well? Your thoughts would be welcome.
Thanks
Julie
