I also came across it last Friday (storm in particular)
I have just set
> BDII_DELETE_DELAY=0
in the site-info, of course the point is as you say, what is the reasonable value for a resource level bdii??
probably, just by reading the name of the variable, 0 is OK, but it has to be documented (I didn't check if it is or not)
probably better to open a ggus ticket for it
