Dear Reia,
Please find below citations of two recent papers in Economic Geology that apply reflectance spectroscopic and geochemical data for 3D modelling of a channel iron ore deposit in Western Australia. As you see from the titles, the focus is on reflectance spectroscopy, but the paper use geochemical data for validation and to construct the ore body shell.

Subject: [GEO-MINERALISATION] seeking papers on 3D geochemical modeling
Greetings to the list,
I am seeking suggestions of papers which describe 3D geochemical modeling of ore deposits. I am asking the list because I have found that searching databases tends to give papers which report 3D models constructed based on techniques like gravity or magnetic that also happen to have the word "geochemistry" mentioned in the abstract. I am hoping that one or more of you know of papers which report 3D models based upon the geochemistry samples within a region.
Thank you,
--Reia
PS, yes, I am the one who asked this question over on the MSA talk list--several people there suggested that I try repeating the question here since I am looking for papers dealing with geochemistry of ore deposits. Now that I have returned to the office after my last trip I am acting on that suggestion.
