Hi Neil,
The dependent libraries should be in the binary distribution's ${FSLDIR}/lib folder.
Have you followed all the instructions for setting up your environment? Try ldd $FSLDIR/bin/fslview_bin to see which libraries are being found.

Binary fslview ships with the runtime libraries. To compile the source version you will have supply the runtime/development environment yourself as per the web page.

We have compiled it with VTK5.3 (that's the one in our Mac distro). I can't vouch for later versions but the VTK wiki has always claimed Qt3 and 4 support (but your distro installed version might not have Qt3 support switched on any more and then you'd need to compile your own version).

We intend to freshen fslview to use current Qt/Qwt and VTK soon (in the next month or so).

I'm hoping you can run from the binary distro and it's simply the user setup details. Let me know.

Dave
