Vacancy - Public Information Officer (part-time)
Under a project implemented by the Cyprus Neuroscience and Technology Institute - Future Worlds Center and funded by UNHCR, which offers free legal advice and representation to asylum seekers and refugees.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Increase public awareness through media interventions and PI campaigns,
- Monitoring the media on asylum and migration coverage,
- Interventions with the media to ensure that asylum issues are fairly and accurately reflected,
- Establishing relations with journalists
Required Qualifications
- University degree in Journalism, Political Science or other related field,
- Post graduate qualification and/or prior experience in asylum issues will be considered an advantage,
- Excellent command of both Greek and English languages
