Hi eleni,
May I come in and submit several questions and likewise submit some
views particularly related to definition of "Inclusive Education."
In the Philippines particularly in the institutional context, the term
Inclusive Education is understood in the views that Article 24 of the
UNCRPD does not provide strict prescriptions nor prohibitions relative
to the environment, methodologies, technologies of the actual classroom
and schoolhouse settings where children with disabilities may be
provided services of transmission or skills and knowledge.
In effect, the term Inclusive Education is understood as refering to
the entire government and society's capability to provide quality,
affordable, accessible, relevant and effective learning and
instructional services to learners of any types, with or without
disabilities on an equal bases. It looks at the principle of
"Addressing the Best interests of the learners/Pupils with or without
disabilities."
How does your study look at such a view of Inclusive Education, which
in another aspect considers "uniformity may not be applicable to the
reality of diversity of learners.
With this as my entry, I would like to be a participant in your study,
if deemed deserving.
Regards from the Philippines,
Lauro Purcil Jr.
