This also appears as data in the TRL Report 481 (check) which assessed
the profile of cyclists - confirming that proportoinately more cyclists
held a driving licence than the national average, more read a
broadsheet, and more owned their own home, but with the crowning glory,
given the way we get massive response to e-campaigns to vote bike in any
media poll for best invention, at the time of the TRL study, cyclists
were only out shone by computer geeks for having internet access and
computer competence - to a level twice as great as the general UK
population. It would seem that this figure still holds-up?
