Subject: Suitable, sustainable & environmentally acceptable uses for sewage sludge
Dear group members,
Can anyone please suggest / advise any suitable, sustainable, environmentally acceptable uses for sewage sludge from a former sewage works sludge “drying beds” on a future proposed development site, planned for large industrial buildings.
And / or can anyone please suggest / advise any literature sources demonstrating, for example, successful soil mixing or other such treatments of sewage sludge, to render it an environmentally acceptable and geotechnically capable foundation stratum.
Many thanks,
Martin Fairlie
