Dear All,

Thank you for all those that have sent their numbers. However, can I ask people to please send your numbers to: [log in to unmask] as my personal email box is becoming full due to a conference I’m organising so there is a possibility I won’t receive your emails. Sending it to: [log in to unmask] will also enable the other convenors to access your numbers.

Many thanks,

Best wishes, Jenny

Dear All,

The BSA Council requires us to do an annual report on the BSA Bourdieu study group. As such, we will require your BSA membership numbers. I know many of you gave your membership numbers to join the group. However, we have had several new people join as well as those that were originally automatically added from the Bourdieu Key Concept conference, so for matters of clear administrative purpose we need all those that are BSA members to forward your numbers to us at: [log in to unmask] . If there has been anyone that joined or rejoined after a break the BSA recently that would also be helpful to know.

As part of the report we will be detailing any future activities that the group has planned. Our initial ideas include having a conference centred around the theme of Bourdieu as a public sociologist and how we might use our research to communicate to an audience beyond academia and social policy.

We have also booked a room at the BSA annual conference in Leeds this April to have a Bourdieu study group meeting. More details regarding this will be sent out shortly. We look forward to seeing you there.

Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

Best wishes, Jenny
