When using either the random question block or question sets, is there a way of retaining the original mark allocation per question? It seems that using either of these methods to deliver a suite of random questions overrides the original mark allocated per question.
For example a lecturer wants to deliver a set of random questions comprised of short and long essay types. She had allocated 6 marks to the long essay type and 4 to the short essay type. She therefore wants to randomly allocated two short and two long question types from a "pool" of questions to each student, knowing that the sum total will be 20 marks. In our investigation using either the random question block or Question set methods of delivering these types of questions ignores the original chosen mark per question.
Any ideas?
