Founded in 2011, The China Britain Youth Association (CBYA) is a new
not-for-profit society dedicated to the furthering of understanding between
young people in Britain and China. To celebrate the establishment of our Oxford branch in late 2011, CBYA
Oxford is pleased to invite you to its inaugural event, at which Oxford's
very own Professor Rana Mitter will discuss the significance of Sino-British
relations in the Year of the Dragon and beyond. Professor Mitter is
Professor of the History and Politics of Modern China, Fellow of St Cross
College and author of several significant works on China, including 'A Very
Short Introduction to Modern China.'
Friday's event will feature Professor Mitter's keynote address, followed by
a Q&A session with the audience.
