Dear colleague,
I am pleased to send you a short survey that forms an important part of a research project we at King’s College London are conducting on behalf of JISC’s First World War Discovery Programme.
If you are responsible for any collection which includes material relating to the First World War, I would be grateful if you would take a few minutes to fill in this survey which will allow the project to make recommendations regarding the development of JISC’s discovery strategy for future digitisation.
The survey is a preliminary review of the availability of sources, both hard copy and digital, relating to the First World War and held in UK archives, libraries, museums and other repositories. It would be great to have the areas you work on well-represented.
Please complete the survey by Friday 9 March in order to allow time for potential follow-up telephone interviews which must take place in March.
Please do forward this e-mail to anyone you think might be interested in taking part in our research. Alternatively, feel free to contact Daniel Whittingham, our research assistant, with any suggestions at any time: [log in to unmask]
