Dear colleagues,
I would like to bring your attention to two new full-time, permanent vacancies on the International team at the Collections Trust.
We are seeking two new European Project Officers to support our new portfolio of EU-funded projects worth more than 9m Euros over the next 3 years. The Project Officers will report to the International Development Manager and will be responsible for:
- Project coordination
- Internal and external communications
- Stakeholder/partner relations across Europe
- Financial administration and reporting
Prior experience of working in a European project is an advantage, but not essential. We are looking for positive, proactive people who will fit well with our busy team based at the Natural History Museum in London. Some travel will be required. Familiarity with the following would be an advantage:
- Research and statistical analysis
- Cultural heritage digitisation
- Interoperability and standards
To find out more about the roles, and how you can apply, visit: http://www.collectionstrust.org.uk/about-us/vacancies/vacancy-eu-project-officers-2/
The Project Officers will support a portfolio of projects including:
- ENUMERATE – Statistical intelligence about digitisation in Europe's museums, archives and libraries
- LINKED HERITAGE – Exploring the potential of linked data for cultural heritage institutions
- EUROPEANA INSIDE – integrating data-sharing and open content licensing into Collections Management Systems
- PARTAGE PLUS – digitising art nouveau collections across Europe
Applications must be submitted not later than 5pm on Monday, 12th March. For an informal discussion about the posts, please contact Gordon McKenna on 0207 942 6080.
Yours sincerely,
Laura Whitton
