address the range of statistical, bioinformatics and modelling problems
arising from our interactions with research scientists at the James
Hutton Institute (JHI) in Dundee. The post-holder will contribute data
analysis, modelling and advice to collaborative projects, and will have
the opportunity to develop an area of personal research related to the
analysis of high dimensional data arising from ‘omics and next
generation sequencing technologies. JHI scientists in Dundee operate at
the forefront of modern technology, generating a challenging range of
quantitative problems motivated by research on crop plants and their
interactions with the environment.
Applicants should be keen to promote the potential of modern statistical
