Application areas of particular interest include revenue management, crisis management, performance and efficiency analysis, energy, healthcare and transportation.
Ideally, you will have a track record of influential research, excellent teaching skills, are willing to engage in distance learning programmes, and are likely to have experience in, or potential for, attracting research funding.
The Operational Research and Management Sciences Group (ORMS) at Warwick Business School (WBS) is a dynamic, highly esteemed and international research group, covering the full range of Operational Research from mathematical to soft OR.
WBS is one of Europe's top business schools. It was the first of an elite global group to be endorsed by all three international business school accreditation bodies: AMBA, EQUIS and AACSB. In the recent 2008 UK Research Assessment Exercise it submitted research output from over 130 staff. 75% of this work was recognised as being internationally excellent and rated as 3* and above.
Underpinned by the breadth, depth and quality of its research, WBS offers a wide range of business and management degrees from undergraduate through postgraduate to its doctoral programme. The ORMS group is responsible for two MSc programmes, one on Management Science and Operational Research, and one on Business Analytics and Consulting.
