ABSTRACT SUBMISSION DEADLINE IN LESS THAN TWO WEEKS : Friday 17th February 2012
UNCERTAINTY IN COMPUTER MODELS 2012, July 2-4, 2012, Sheffield, UK
Registration and abstract submission is now open at
http://www.mucm.ac.uk/UCM2012.html
The Uncertainty in Computer Models 2012 (UCM 2012) Conference will
take place in Sheffield between 2nd and 4th July 2012 and is open to
everyone interested in all aspects of computer model uncertainty, both
theoretical and practical. The conference focuses on statistical
methods to quantify and analyse the uncertainties in the predictions
of computer models.
This is the second conference to be organised by the MUCM (Managing
Uncertainty in Complex Models – http://www.mucm.ac.uk) project, and
follows on from UCM2010. Research in MUCM is concerned with all
aspects of uncertainty in computer models, including the propagation
of parameter uncertainty, model discrepancy, validation, sensitivity
analysis and the calibration of models.
Uncertainty in computer models is an emerging and highly topical field
of statistical research, with many challenges and an enormous range of
applications. A warm welcome in Sheffield in July 2012 is promised to
all participants!
Abstract submissions are invited for contributed talks and poster
presentations. For further information, registration and abstract
submission details and deadlines, please visit our website
