Prediction Modelling in Health (2-5pm)
Three talks on prediction modelling of health data with a focus on non-genetic markers. There will be a general overview of prediction modelling, a specific approach for longitudinal data and considerations for design, analysis and reporting when validating a prediction model.
Titles and Speakers:
Professor Karel Moons, Julius Center for Health Sciences and Primary Care, University Medical Center Utrecht
“Investigating the clinical usefulness of biomarkers.”
Dr Ruwanthi Kolamunnage-Dona, Department of Biostatistics at the University of Liverpool
“A joint modelling approach to determine the predictive accuracy of a longitudinal biomarker.”
Dr Gary Collins, Centre for Statistics in Medicine at the University of Oxford
