Subject: [PSCI-COM] Seeking illustrators
Hi Psci-Com,
I'm looking for freelance illustrators for two regular features of the
Wellcome Trust's magazine Wellcome News (www.wellcome.ac.uk/wellcomenews).
First is the 'Nuts and bolts' articles, where we have detailed drawings of
all sorts of scientific objects – from zebrafish to MRI machines. Here's the
latest (a neuron). The style varies, but I'm looking for someone who can
understand the medical and scientific aspects and express them in the form
of something beautiful!

The other thing I'm looking for is someone to draw head-and-shoulder
portraits of people (from photographs) that will be used at A4 alongside
articles about their careers. Again, we're happy to consider a variety of
styles.
If you or someone you know might be interested in this kind of commission,
please reply to me off list with examples of your work and contact details.
Many thanks,
Chrissie
