Hi All
I wondered if anyone could share some wisdom with me or had any
factsheets to give to a manager who's employee has recently told them
they have type 1 Diabetes? Just to give some guidance on the employer
responsibilities etc. The manager is a bit concerned about the safety aspect:
he's actually asked should the employee be wearing an armband declaring her diabetic status!
You see the level of information I'm needing to begin with here....
I'll cover the DDA etc of course, but any further advice about how to educate
colleagues / first aiders etc greedily accepted!
