Hi - Yes I see your point Carr but even the individuals themselves had said they were not bright at school and so worked at the abatoir. My feeling is that some may have dyslexia but have always been classed as 'not bright' and no further investigations have been completed until now. I just really wanted to know whose responsibility it was for finding out if individuals were dyslexic or 'not bright' should this be the Business or the individual themselves or mine as the OH nurse trying to help. Or should I just stay out of it until dyslexia has been confirmed. Several staff could in fact find themselves without a job when they have managed perfectly well for years in their old role.
I suppose this is like any change in a busieness there may be some who dont keep their job through capability issues or a case of they dont like change.
