Registration is now open for The FOURTH UK-US MEDICAL SOCIOLOGY CONFERENCE which will be held from June 14-16 at Queen’s University in Belfast.
The Fourth US-UK Medical Sociology conference is a meeting designed to bring together scholars with common interests in a small group-setting to network, debate, share ideas and forge new ground in medical sociology. Participation is limited to approximately 100 delegates. Previous conferences at Royal Holloway, Edinburgh and Boston have been very successful, so we suggest early registration for participants.
This is a residential conference and thus all participants will stay at one of the conference accommodations options. All attendees take meals together and attend all plenary sessions and working groups. The registration fee is all-inclusive except for accommodation. University accommodation is available at a very reasonable cost. The Conference convenes on June 14 at 5:00 pm and continues through 3:00 pm on June 16.
US and UK Ph.D. students can apply for funding bursaries for Registration and Accommodation (consult the website). Applications for Ph.D. student funding are due by February 15, 2012.
