I don't know about BB Drive, but a similar issues occurs on XP with USB sticks that create a new drive letter and overwrite an existing mapped drive. MS put a hotfix out for it: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/297694
Also, I haven't tried this yet but in BB Drive under advanced options when you edit the volume you can choose your drive letter that it will create.
