Maybe. Seagate insisted that they would only take our "out of 3 year
warranty, but in 5 year warranty" harddrives back through Viglen who
we bought the kit originally from. Viglen was none too pleased and it
required some wrangling to get this through. It didn't help that
Seagate at some point declared some of our drives 'lost at sea'
(flooding in Thailand) and we are still waiting for the refund.
Worth a try though.
