I would have thought all of us working with publishers would be interested in this….
We certainly are :)
Sorry for late reply - 1st day back after festive (long) break.

Hello Open Textbook folk!
Just to quickly introduce myself, I'm Laura, and I joined the OKFN a
couple of weeks ago. I'm a Community Coordinator, and one of my
particular roles is to look after the working groups and make sure that
they are all flourishing and happy.
Open Textbook got off to a great start a couple of years ago, but more
recently this mailing list and the Open Textbook website have been
pretty quiet.
As you may have noticed, a new volunteer, Cris Noble, has recently been
in touch and is keen to get involved with the group. I think this is a
great opportunity to get Open Textbook up and running again, and to make
it an active and exciting project once more.
If you are keen to get involved with Open Textbook, it would be really
great if you could send an email round to the mailing list. Once we've
had some responses, we can begin to bounce ideas around and move things
forward.
I do appreciate that for some of you circumstances may have changed and
you may no longer feel able to get involved. For those of you who are
still interested though, I'd really encourage you to get in touch. This
has the potential to be a great project, and whatever commitment you
feel able to make (even if its just reading the mail and being a quiet
supporter!) we'd love to know you were on board :)
Hoping to hear from lots of you very soon!
With best wishes for a wonderful Christmas,
Laura
