Dear colleagues,
The 2012 Spring MIST Meeting is being held as part of the National Astronomy Meeting in Manchester on 27-30 March. This year's NAM is a joint UK-Germany meeting. The meeting website is now open for registration and abstract submission on www.jb.man.ac.uk/nam, including information about the scientific programme, accommodation, travel etc.
The deadline for submission of abstracts is 3 February.
The following sessions may be of particular interest to MIST scientists. They include sessions in the magnetic universe, UK Solar Physics and telescopes & instruments themes as well as those in the MIST theme.
MST1 Magnetic Reconnection in space and astrophysical Plasmas
MST2 New exploration of the geomagnetic field: opportunities with the ESA SWARM mission
MST3 Vertical Coupling through planetary atmospheres and ionospheres
MST4 Recent results in MIST science
MST5 Particle acceleration and transport at the Sun and in the heliosphere
MAG1 Magnetospheres throughout the Universe
SP1 Interplanetary observations of the Solar Wind.
