Dear Colleagues
We are seeking to appoint a full-time Research Assistant/Associate in the Institute of Health and Society at Newcastle University, to work on an ESRC funded study (NoMAD) to develop and test measures of healthcare implementation processes based on Normalisation Process Theory. The post is available from February 2012 and is tenable for 36 months. Details are below.
The NoMAD project will develop theory-based measures of processes involved in implementing complex interventions in healthcare. The tasks include theory development workshops, questionnaire development and testing, and conducting and analysing survey data. The study will require flexibility to travel to a number of research sites within the UK.
Requirements are a good first degree/postgraduate research degree in social science or related discipline, and experience in health related research (mixed methods) and writing research reports. For appointment at Research Associate level you must have a PhD. Salary: £25,101 - £26,629 - Research Assistant without PhD; £27,428 - £35,788 - Research Associate with PhD.
