A brief comment to echo Rowann's and to respond to Bridget's post.
National Trust Collections www.nationaltrustcollections.org.uk the
Trust's new online collections website was launched on 16th December.
The immediate purpose of the site is to provide online access to the
collections, currently over 735,000 items from some 300 + National Trust
Properties (including 142 Accredited Museums) in England, Wales and
Northern Ireland.
Comments, queries or suggestions from members of the group on all
aspects including content, site usability and functionality will be very
welcome - to [log in to unmask]

Thanks to all for your comments about the website. It has been a long
time in the making and unfortunately the collections management database
system that its based on we do affectionately call "The Diva" because of
its mood swings!
If you do have comments or find a bug, please email
mailto:[log in to unmask] (found through the contact us
page). Please also cc me in ([log in to unmask]) as
I'd like to keep a track of what's been found. If you think its an issue
that would benefit from the wider discussion this forum can create then
feel free to post it here too.
Hope you all had a good holiday,
Cheers
Rowann

That's wonderful news. Thanks for sharing this and congratulations to
the National Trust.
Are you happy for comments (constructively critical) on here to help you
make adjustments?
