SeaZone innovates constantly its range of data products and services; re-engineering what we deliver to meet the growing demand for marine information services.
This expansion into new services has created the opportunities for a talented software analyst/developer with 10 plus years' expertise to join the SeaZone team. As a pre-requisite you must have strong C# and Visual Studio skills; and a good understanding of the software development process from design through to implementation. In addition, experience of any of the following would be advantageous: GIS/Oracle spatial, PostgresSQL and web-mapping applications. An appreciation of hydraulic numerical modelling and simulation would also be useful.
Working as part of the SeaZone team you will have considerable responsibility and flexibility to design and create new solutions, so it is essential that you can actively contribute and deliver software yourself and support others in this process.
SeaZone Solutions is part of HR Wallingford, an independent research and consultancy organisation. We are committed to recruiting and retaining staff of the highest calibre. We offer a stimulating working environment, competitive salaries and an excellent benefits package that includes a pension scheme, flexible working hours, childcare vouchers, staff restaurant and a sports and social club.
