Dear All
Due to popular demand, we are announcing a pre-release for the next version of probtrackx.
This tool will soon replace the old probtrackx, so we are releasing it for your scrutiny and welcome your feedback.
The pre-release binary is called probtrackx2 (so you can install it whilst keeping the option of running probtrackx). For the moment, it is only available as a command-line tool. If you use the FDT GUI, you will be calling the old probtrackx, NOT probtrackx2.
Probtrackx2 and the accompanying documentation can be downloaded from http://fsl.fmrib.ox.ac.uk/fsldownloads/patches
What's new?
- handles *combined* surfaces and volumes as ROIs
- handles surfaces from Caret, FreeSurfer and FIRST (in ascii for now - gifti coming soon)
- various types of connectivity matrix storage
- more efficient internal handling of memory
- more detailed documentation (with examples!)
- surface-to-volume and volume-to-surface utilities (surf2vol, surf_proj and surf2surf - still undocumented)
Please email me if you have any questions/suggestions or encounter bugs.
Thank you all
