We have a launch tomorrow evening of an exhibition about mind and
consciousness along with a new art and science 'Circle' for Cambridge. The
exhibition of the work of Susan Aldworth and Karen Ingham on the ten high
definition digital screens at the Ruskin Gallery in Cambridge called
'Between - Mind and Matter' engages with neurocience, the anthropological,
issues of identity and physical/mental boundaries. Please come to the
Opening from 6.00 pm followed by a dialogue between Susan Aldworth and
Professor Nick Humphrey author of Soul-Dust and other studies in mind and
consciousness. Professor Scott Lash Head of Cultural Studies at Goldsmiths
College will then speak about art and science within a broader cultural
milieu. Do come along if you are anywhere near Cambridge (England).
This
is also the last chance this week to see early computer art works in a
Cambridge shop window - - on show from 3.00-8.00 pm ...brightening the
January darkness.
