JOB STATUS: 18 Month Fixed Term Appointment
SALARY PER ANNUM: £22,056 - £29,372 depending on experience
JOB DETAILS:
Joining our Collections & Services Team and reporting to the Archivist and Records Manager, this role is required to deliver RBG Kew’s mission by implementing improvements to the records management procedure and practice across the whole institution. This will be achieved through the systematic auditing and reviewing of records, documents and images held and development of a file plan and retention schedule.
The role will work towards an electronic records and document management solution (EDRMS) for RBG Kew. Providing support for Kew’s information legislation compliance work may also be required.
With a postgraduate qualification in records management or archive administration, the post-holder will be expected to have previous experience of working in a records management position. In addition the successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be used to working with a wide range of stakeholders and have good organisational and time management skills.
