Two PhD projects in statistical genetics are avaliable in the Section of Epidemiology and Biostatistics in the Leeds Institute of Molecular Medicine at the University of Leeds. These are fully-funded by Cancer Research UK and Yorkshire Cancer Research and will be awarded competitively to the best candidate across a number of possible cancer-related projects.
The projects available in statistical genetics are:
"Detecting rare genetic variants affecting risk of disease"
supervised by Dr Mark Iles and Prof Jenny Barrett
