Abstract:
"Six Sigma is an organized and systematic method for strategic process improvement and new product and service development that relies on statistical methods and the scientific method to make dramatic reductions in customer defined defect rates. Six Sigma works on a set of statistical "tools" to help us measure, analyze, improve, and control our processes It guarantees a commitment to our customers to achieve an exceptional level of performance in terms of process and product. Since quality control and quality improvement being the centre of attraction of this philosophy, a very committed and focused approach is essential to achieve the required goals. The management should therefore prepare a plan of action for a continuous improvement and its achievement."
