PHASTAR are looking to hire a principal statistician / SAS programmer for a
permanent role in our West London office (3+ years' experience).
PHASTAR are an experienced team of statisticians with expertise in
statistical consulting and study reporting for clinical trials. We are
currently working with five of the top ten pharma companies in a range of
therapeutic areas. You will be involved in: study design (pre-clinical to
phase IV), statistical consulting (quite often solving difficult problems),
and reporting studies using SAS (sometimes S+ and R). As a company that is
owned, managed and led by statisticians, there is great variety in day to
day tasks and responsibilities. PHASTAR is actively involved in conducting
research into statistical methodology leading to journal publications and
conference presentations; you would be encouraged to contribute to this

must have a MSc or PhD in statistics, and must be technically sound. You
must also have the relevant SAS programming experience. You should possess
effective communication skills, and previous experience leading projects.
With your experience, it is expected that you will integrate into the team
quickly with an ability to solve statistical problems independently.
