Hi PSCI-Commers
If anyone on the list is involved with wildlife or environmental events, you may be interested in accreditation of your event through our Cultural Olympiad funded programme, Meet the Species. Please do contact me off-list if you have any questions!
Many thanks

Are you planning to organise a wildlife event before July 2012?
Will it (or could it) involve recording species? If the answer to these questions is yes then your event could be an accredited Meet the Species event! And you’ll be playing a part in a major UK-wide wildlife survey, as the species you record might just be one of the 2,012 we aim to find before the close of the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
By gaining accreditation your event will be listed on the Meet the Species website and the London 2012 Local Leaders website, you will benefit by receiving a pack of free event materials such as stickers, T-shirts and magnifying glasses (whilst stocks last) and you will have access to a range of helpful resources.
If you are interested, then fill out a registration form, which you can find here: http://www.bnhc.org.uk/home/meet-the-species/events/registering-your-event.html or contact Matt Postles at [log in to unmask]
