Hi Everyone,
Please find attached a call for papers for the Caribbean Journal of
International Relations, the in-house journal of the UWI Graduate
Institute of International Relations (IIR). The journal will be
re-launched in early 2012 as an open-access electronic journal. The
website is under construction, but will be completed very soon and a
further email will be sent with its location in due course.
The editors welcome the following submissions from academics, graduate
research students, policy experts, government officials, businesspeople
and other interested persons:
1. Short 'think' pieces and policy analysis up to 4,000 words
(reviewed internally, but not externally peer-reviewed).
2. Longer academic papers, representing original research, on
issues relevant to Caribbean IR, development and political economy up to
8,000 words (subject to external peer-review).
3. We will also be publishing the very best of the IIR's MSc
Dissertations in revised form.
All submissions should be sent by email to [log in to unmask] and copied
to the managing editor, [log in to unmask]
Full author guidelines and a full call for papers, along with the
journal's mission statement are attached to this email.
Please feel free to email with any other queries, and also help us by
distributing to your networks.
Best wishes and a very happy new year.
Matthew
