Hi,
I upgraded Manchester BDIIa last time in May
(http://northgrid-tech.blogspot.com/2011/05/bdii-follow-up.html) and we
do have a periodical problem with freshness in the top BDII. Infact I
had to insert a further check, for total of 3 failure modes, in my
restart script
(http://northgrid-tech.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html) to catch
the freshness problem. I meant to write an additional BDII blog entry
about this but haven't had time yet. The script is here
http://www.sysadmin.hep.ac.uk/svn/fabric-management/processes/monitoring/testbdii.sh
It'd be useful to know which version doesn't do that because the restart
method is as usual not ideal.
cheers
alessandra
