Dear all,
Is it OK if I pool together the T1 data of both experimental and control subjects to study the relations between grey matter volume (GMV) of some brain regions that showed significant group difference and some questionnaire scores, for the sake of power, even though the two groups differ in most scores?
Using this method, I found significant correlations between GMV of 2 brain regions and 2 scores but not the other scores, since all scores are not 'disease' score so neither group shows ceiling or floor effects, but is it appropriate to use these significant correlations (i.e. the 2 scores) to help explain for the group difference on GMV that I first found?
Thanks for your advice!
Best wishes,
Meikei
