Hi
I have a book,
"What to expect when you're breastfeeding and what if you can't." written by lactation consultant Clare Byam-Cook
She states
"many mothers are told they must never give their breast-fed baby a bottle as this will cause 'nipple-teat' confusion and will ruin breastfeeding. Several studies have now shown that this is not the case and I have never come across a baby who was happily and successfully breast-feeding and then totally rejected the breast when offered a bottle'
It would be interesting to investigate the 'studies' she is referring to.
Cheers
