Hi everyone,
I am working with a PhD student who is carrying out research on women and homelessness and as part of this she's interested in looking at media representations of homeless women – whether of rough sleepers, women staying in refuges, or women who are displaced from home in some other way (staying on friends' sofas etc). We have struggled to think of many of these so if you can think of any representations – in the news, in documentaries, or in fictional film and TV, in the UK since the year 2000, it would be great if you could email me any suggestions,
Thanks, Feona
