Dear colleagues,
We are advertising for two Faculty Liaison Librarians who can build and maintain excellent working relationships with our Faculty of Humanities and Faculty of Science whilst delivering a set of challenging and transformational development projects for Information Services.
We're looking for talented information professionals with all the essential business management skills that are required in a modern University library environment - communication, advocacy, negotiation and deep understanding of the role libraries play in delivering research excellence and a high quality student experience. We are looking for someone who recognises the importance and value of close working with IT and Customer Support colleagues in Information Services, and would be committed to delivering the best possible service for our research and student communities.
We need excellent people managers who are as passionate and knowledgeable about managing electronic resources as they are about historical texts. They will understand the need to embrace technology in the 'edgeless university' and have strategies for communicating the value of technology and supporting the University's library user community to get the very best value from its IT investments.
