UC&R London have organised a visit to the National Art Library
Monday 30th January 2012 2.30 - 3.45 p.m.
Information on how to get to the National Art Library including a location map can be found at: http://www.vam.ac.uk/content/visit-us/getting-here/
A maximum of 25 people can attend this visit, so it will be a case of first come, first served.
The visit will include a behind the scenes tour of the library and to look at the Treasures of the National Art Library.
The National Art Library, located in the Victoria and Albert Museum's South Kensington building, is a major public reference library, as well as being the V&A's curatorial department for the art, craft and design of the book. The Library's strength lies in the range and depth of its holdings of documentary material concerning the fine and decorative arts of many countries and periods.
The National Art Library is accessible to the public as a reference library: all material must be consulted in one of the Library's reading rooms.
