One of the pieces of information that the Open Access Repository
Junction Identification service should usefully return is the SWORD
details for a repository (basically where to get the "seervicedocument").
In SWORD 1.3, the recommendation was that this is defined in the head
section of a repositories home page.... however there are still a
significant number of repositories that do not implement this.
The next option is to try to load the servicedocument, and look for an
"Authorisation needed" response.... the catch being you need to know
where to look!
I know about the following default locations:
<website-root>/dspace-sword/servicedocument
<website-root>/cgi/sword-app/servicedocument
<website-root>/sword-app/servicedocument
<website-root>/sword/servicedocument
Are there any others?
(Do *you* have SWORD enabled on your repository? What is the URL for
*your* servicedocument ?)
