University of Reading Research Studentships in Arts and Humanities/AHRC Doctoral Studentships
University of Reading Research Studentships are available in all arts and humanities disciplines. We invite applications from well-qualified students for University of Reading Research Studentships to commence in 2012.
AHRC Doctoral Studentships: AHRC Doctoral Studentships are available in the following disciplines for 2012/13:
Archaeology
Classics
Typography
Drama, Dance and Performing Arts
English
Italian
Philosophy
UK students who satisfy certain residency criteria are eligible for awards covering fees at the Home/EU rate and provide a maintenance grant in line with the national level set by the UK Research Councils. Students from EU countries other than the UK who satisfy certain residency criteria are eligible to apply for fees-only awards. Many Schools and Departments also offer supplementary funding in the form of bursaries and opportunities for teaching and research support.
