Second Notice of our next free Intranets Forum meeting

Successful launches in 2011: from principles to practice

Tuesday 15 November 2011
2.30pm to 5pm (coffee from 2.00 pm)

Venue: By kind arrangement with Roger Farbey, BDA’s Head of Library and Knowledge Services

British Dental Association
64 Wimpole Street
London
W1G 8YS

(For directions see below)

The theme for the meeting is successful launches. We have two interesting speakers with very recent experience and good stories to tell:

Julia Pidgeon, Internal Communications Manager, who led the update and re-launch of University of Warwick’s intranet this summer.

Joanna Ashe, Senior Information Scientist at the National Clinical Guidelines Centre, who launched the Centre’s intranet in June this year.

Come and hear Julia’s and Joanna’s presentations, ask them questions and join in the discussions!

If you are involved in intranets and would like to meet your colleagues, this informal forum is for you. Not only will we have two presentations of successful recent launches: there will be open sessions to raise any intranet issues you would like to seek advice on, and plenty of opportunity to network. We will also be discussing events for January, March and beyond.

If you would like to attend, please contact: Dion Lindsay, UKeiG's Intranets Forum Organiser
