Did the Egyptian boat save them? Who observed the builders? What time does
the bar open is it licensed?
We have a right to know and I wonder about the No artefacts were they
Japanese?
P concerned have the police been informed??doesn't anyone care and what was
the poet's role here we want no criminals on poetryetc

Subject: The Bar between St Agnes and The Gugh from Agnes
Very low tide; otherwise like yesterday.
The runway's a bit lower, a little tipped;
people stride.
The Cove side stretches itself
half the bar's width again, a shallow curve
with upturned ends, an Egyptian boat in shape,
in the middle of it.
Two young children,
drawn in the style of E H Shepherd
by their own contentment, walking towards
the ocean, side by side, he somewhat young,
hand held, maintaining his balance overall,
she with a straight shovel and pleasant smile.
She bosses him.
She starts to dig a hole.
He runs off for his bucket.
The hole fills
with sea. They relocate to higher ground
near to Agnes, and towards the northern coast
where there has been dug a basic hill fort,
a rampart of sand surrounding protected space
now abandoned.
A quick field walk discovers
no artifacts of interest.
The sea is still far back.
Large traffic of walkers from The Gugh towards
St Agnes.
The two builders observe them go.
