The WT report has often done strange things for us, but not consistently which makes it difficult to report and correct.
However, we've certainly reported errors with it before (Incident number #157286) being the latest.
Regarding your "1% only inflation" problem, I thought the "up to the first year" inflation rate was still taken from funder set-up, so you might want to make sure nobody local has tinkered with this without your knowledge.

I am not sure if this problem is the some one I have reported to Unit4 awhile back? They are looking into it.
To be honest I have never understood what the Wellcome Trust report is doing.

We have noticed that in the Welcome Trust report the salary break down figures do not add up to the figures in the total column. Please see page 2 under the Staff RA cost. Basic L/W NI S/A Total Grant Year 2 01/02/13 to 31/01/14 29,720 2,134 2,372 5,079 0 41,328 If you add the basic plus L/W plus NI plus S/A this comes to 39305. So is there an error? Good Morning All
Has anyone else noticed or reported any problems with the Wellcome Trust report?
We asked Unit 4 back in May to update it in line with Wellcome's change to the inflation rate for year 1, "Figures for Year 1 may include known pay awards that will take place during the first year (or an assumed 1.7 per cent where the scheduled pay award has not yet been confirmed)". but this has not yet been done.
On checking the report again on Friday last week we think the report has changed, but is now showing 1% inflation for year 1 and all subsequent years of the project, which is still incorrect.
