I do hope you don't have to cancel, Allison. You are right, Diana is such an
advocate for OH nursing and a brilliant speaker. I don't know how you have
managed to run this event for £25.00/head. Its an absolute bargain, the
Lowry is also a very nice hotel, I had a lovely meal there a couple of
years ago on one of our trips up north to see family.
Under the circumstances that this is an educational and networking event run
at no profit please feel free to put an advert on the JISC mail site. If
anyone has a problem with that - I am happy to take any flak!!!!
If I were in Manchester, and free on that evening, I would be booking a
place. I had invited Diana to be one of the London South Bank University
guests at the OH awards at the Personnel Today dinner. You will have seen in
this month's OH magazine that LSBU have won two awards and Diana is our
visiting professor. She told me that she was unable to join us as she was
speaking for you - I was disappointed but just pleased that she was speaking
at your event.
Best
Anne
