Off the top of my head the only way I can think of at the moment is to have a new front page role for students who are blocked from the PLP, and then just create a new capability. (If you wanted more than 1 student anyway).
There's probably a better way of doing it though.

Subject: Block a learner from accessing an ILP
Hello
If I want to block a learner or even several from accessing their own Moodle ILP is it possible do you think? I'm talking about the additional module by ULCC and I'm using Moodle 1.9.11 I have a suspicion you can probably do it with overrides on the capabilities, but wondered if anyone has ideas on something simpler or if not then which capabilities do you think I would need to override?
Thanks
Heather
